Chants of "Justicia para Johnny," and "Si se puede" could be heard by the crowd of an estimated 200 marchers.  Starting at 2nd Ward's TBH center, they marched all the way to the steps of the Harris County Criminal Justice Center downtown demanding justice for Johnny Hernandez who was choked to death outside a Denny's restaurant by a man who happens to be the wife of a Harris County Sheriff's Deputy.

After the incident, Johnny was left brain-dead and on life support.  The man who choked him to death has yet to be arrested or charged, and his wife the Sheriff's Deputy, remains on desk duty even though cell phone video shows her trying to block the recordings as her husband choked Johnny.
